inclusive playgrounds


An inclusive playground can be used by a wide range of users with different abilities, without particular adaptations, without special designs. Many people hold a small or medium level of disability that does not require a radical design as that for users in wheelchairs. The difference between a game and a game inclusive for disabled part then from design, designed to allow children to have fun together, without barriers or divisions.

Example of inclusive playgrounds:

Children do not need to access the game spaces in the same way but everyone has the right to play. For this reason a good design of the inclusive park is necessary, both of the structures inserted therein and the spaces around them as well as the access roads.
