Canadian microbiologists says playing outside helps children develop a healthy immune system

Microbiologist says first year is key in having a child build up a strong immune system

 

 

Canadian microbiologist, Jason Tetro, has spoken out on CBC News this week saying that developing a healthy immune system early in life can be as simple as letting children play outside in the dirt. Tetro, the author of ‘The Germ Code’, advocates the case for outdoor play, even in dirt and mud, as it boosts the natural development of the immune system.
