EXPO: Colombia Pavilion built with Silver Fir of Dolomites

Colombia Pavilion is made in Carnia, the material used for the construction is the Silver Fir of Friulian Dolomites.

The Pavilion is a “low tech” and sustainable construction, built with “dry wall” technique, without the use of water and concrete, but only certificate Silver Fir from Carnia (Friuli Venezia Giulia) and other materials 100% recyclable.

This structure was designed as a tribute to Cristoforo Colombo, and represents the synthesis between architecture and respect for the environment in terms of food, water and sustainability.

In record time Legnolandia realized the project designed by Cardenas Studio from Milan, an exhibition area of 907 square meters in which are represented the five thermal status of South America. In Colombia, in fact, the cycle of nature is not affected by the seasons but by the geographical places in which it is delineated a variety of altitudes.
